DENR Riders in support of Waste Management
Denr Riders supported one of DENRs activity in giving information to people about waste management.
Last Sept 8, 2007, we were able to join the Information Education Campaign (IEC) at Brgy Bagumbayan North Navotas in accordance of the upcoming coastal clean-up next Sat Sept 15, 07.
Together with some EMB employees we were able to gather data to help Brgy Bagumbayan to priorities activities on waste manegement.

Tree Planting - Lamesa Dam - July 18, 2007
A view of Lamesa Dam
DENR riders made the ride to Lamesa Dam an ease to participating tree planters and DENR officials.
Some of the members had there first time to join the group in support of DENR activities.
Leading the way was Dr. Pilar, current president of the Galaw Kalikasan who is also an active member.
After the event we are now expecting 4 new members to join the DENR Riders.

"BEAT THE HEAT" - motto of the activity which the group attended to assist in the orderly ride of the participants.

042207 - Earth Day
Assembled at DENR around 7am then took-off around 8 to escort 8 AFP trucks to smokey mountain.
Around 10 we took-off again to escort the trucks to Manila Cathedral.
After lunch we when to the Concert at the Lung Center of the Philippines.
Our conclusion, the trip was a success and the best way to describe it to look at the next pic :)
